The GNM Nursing admission process in India is usually conducted at the state level. There is no centralised entrance exam; instead, each state government organises its own test once a year to select candidates for the GNM Nursing programme in India. In the GNM course, selection is based on the student's performance in the respective entrance exam, ensuring merit-based opportunities to pursue this professional nursing course.
The students must have completed 10+2 with English from a recognised senior secondary education board like ICSE/CBSE/State Board.
The students must have a minimum of 45% at the qualifying examination and English individually for any recognized board.
